Thank you to everyone who completed our 2025 Salary Survey earlier this year. The results are now available, and they tell a powerful story about the CILEX pathway.

Here are some of the highlights:

• 92% of respondents are satisfied with their career progression with CILEX.
• Salaries rise significantly with each membership grade.
• Many started with A-levels or below, yet their salaries match those of graduates.
• CILEX professionals are reaching senior roles, including Partner and judicial positions.

But the survey also highlights areas for improvement:

• The gender pay gap is 25% at senior levels.
• Members from ethnically diverse backgrounds still earn less on average.
